Updating Your New Client Application Form
Did you know that Picture ID is required when you are opening an account with First Financial under the Money Laundering Act (Bill C-9). First Financial is obligated to verify the signatures of any persons involved with an account.
The information on the new client application form must be updated yearly. This is in case any major changes in your life have taken place, or if your time horizon or investment objectives have changed etc. This means you must have a face too face meeting with your representative at least once a year to discuss if the information on your new client application form must be updated.
Client Concerns
One of the main concerns we receive, from clients, is the amount of mail and paper sent by fund companies and by First Financial. By law mutual funds companies must send out quarterly statements, as well as confirmations of any trades in your account. First Financial also sends out quarterly statements to all clients. Please be sure to save your year-end statements from the mutual fund companies to help during income tax time. Please e-mail us any concerns you may have regarding anything to do with First Financial or the industry in general.
